Sandrine Auric

Sandrine Auric, céramic, south of France, french ceramist , vallauris, picasso, bol oursin, art gallery french riviera

Illustrator and Artistic Director for almost 20 years, Sandrine Auric has worked as a freelancer for major advertising and communication agencies (Euro Rscg, Publicis, HighCo). During all these years spent in the world of images, through the various campaigns or visual identity projects she has designed, she has always brought a touch of authenticity by using different so-called traditional techniques ranging from drawing, from painting to the sculpture of cellular concrete or even resin bringing his personal touch.

The creative world of advertising never ceases to inspire her, so it is only natural that she turns to ceramics, choosing clay, porcelain or stoneware to create and shape her style.

She then approaches the work of the earth and the techniques of modeling and molding in a workshop located in the Aix countryside, then deepens her knowledge of this material by turning and refocuses on the creation of unique pieces in enamelled stoneware often white and black with Mediterranean themes.

An inexhaustible source of inspiration, she worships the Mediterranean, she draws on its colors and its history to create her ceramics. You guessed it, Sandrine Auris lives and works in the south of France.

We will find in his work winks to the artists who inspire him (Roger Capron, Georges Jouve, Jacques Pouchain, Picasso, Matisse, Cocteau ...)
