Antoine Pierini was born on the Côte d'Azur, when his father Robert, a glassmaker of international renown, set up his kilns in an old mill at the foot of the village of Biot, the glass capital of France.
Bathed in this artistic aura and enriched by encounters with other great names in glass, Antoine Pierini put his father's gestures at the service of his creativity, giving birth to strong pieces rooted in nature, no longer having anything to do with craftsmanship, but everything to do with art.
Whether translucent, frosted, flaked or striated, or his endless bottles twisting sensuously to intoxicate us, Antoine Pierini's glass sculptures are mature, accomplished works of art that attract the interest of collectors worldwide.
